The Rawa Badak Utara RPTRA, Koja Sub-district, North Jakarta, is now completed with Library Containers. This newest facility is assistance from Ocean Network Express (ONE) in collaboration with KMDI Container Depot and Save the Children.

Surely, this attracts children to love reading

Rawa Badak Utara Urban Village Head, Nani expressed his appreciation and thanks for providing the Library Container assistance.

"I give my appreciation to all parties who have contributed in presenting Library Containers at the Rawa Badak Utara RPTRA," he expressed, Wednesday (3/6).

He hoped that it could increase literacy for children in Rawa Badak Utara Urban Village, and even become a new activity and sharing place for children.

"It is comfortable, colorful, and complete with facilities here. Children can read quietly and develop their imagination so they are expected to become creative children," he explained.

North Jakarta RPTRA Coordinator, Suto added the Library Container has a thousand books complete with bookshelves, folding tables, fans, pillows, and educational games.

"Surely, this attracts children to love reading. This is the first time the Library Container is in the RPTRA," he explained.

To support reading activities, there would be additional tables and seating around the Library Container location.

"Hopefully, it can attract more visitors. Currently, on normal days, there are around 100 visitors and it can reach 200 people on holidays," he hoped.

Those new facilities received appreciation from one of the residents, Amel (8).

"The books are many and interesting, there are also brain teasers. My friends and I really enjoyed playing and learning here, it was really fun," she stated.
