Repairs to the 750-meter-long sidewalk with a width of around two to three meters on Jalan Raya Bekasi, Jatinegara Kaum Urban Village, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, targeted for completion in mid-December.

Roads, Bridges and Road Equipment Division Head, Beny Situmorang said the sidewalk repairs were executed by a third party through an e-catalog auction process. It has been stated since early October.

"The work progress has touched 76 percent and will be completed by the end of this year," he expressed, Tuesday (11/21).

Just like in other locations, the repairs were also equipped with the creation of underground Integrated Utility Network (SJUT) facilities.

"All aerial cables will be moved underground to make it more orderly and beautiful," he concluded.
