MSMEs under Jakarta Entrepreneur (Jakpreneur) are present as exhibitors at the famous fashion event Paris Fashion Week through the L'adresse Trade Showroom in Paris, France which has been ongoing from September 25 to October 3, 2023.

They have made thorough preparations before departure, including the curation process by the Jakarta Agency of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM).

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo said the local MSMEs participation in the international arena is the Jakarta Provincial Government's effort to develop MSMEs for competing at the international level.

"Their participation is one of the Jakarta Government's efforts to expand the marketing scale of local MSME products, thus they can have global competitiveness," she expressed, Wednesday (10/11).

From the curation process, those who met the qualifications and were successfully sent were Ellyhan Jewelry, Christine Wu, and Long Story Short.

Women's Shoe Business Owner, Christine Wu, was very grateful for the trust and opportunity given by Jakarta Entrepreneur. She also appreciated the PPKUKM Agency's coaching before leaving for Paris.

“Starting from creating lookbooks, line sheets, and how to deal with buyers. I will continue to learn so that I can become a brand from Jakarta, from my homeland, that can be compared on the international stage and scale," she stated.
