The Palmerah Sub-district Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) demolished dozens of illegal buildings along the inspection street of the Grogol River, Kemanggisan Urban Village, and Palmerah Urban Village, Palmerah Sub-district, West Jakarta, Wednesday (10/4).

Palmerah Sub-district Satpol Pp Head, Rojikin said there were actually 65 buildings torn down by 200 joint personnel.

"Those joint personnel are Satpol PP, Transportation Agency, National Army (TNI)/police, and PPSU. Prior to demolishment, we have held socialization to the building owners about the warning letter 1, 2, and 3," he expressed.

According to him, the buildings demolished consisted of street vendor carts, poultry cages, stall tents, posts, and so forth.

It was in accordance with the Bylaw number 8/2017 on Public Order.

"After that, the area will be fenced and will be arranged soon," he stated.
