The West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency dredged the 120-centimeter-high water channel located on Jalan Outer Ring Road, precisely around the Rawa Buaya Flyover, Rawa Buaya Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district.

West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Purwanti expressed the channel dredging was carried out up to 150 meters long.

"This is done to follow up on residents' reports via CRM application," she expressed, Monday (10/2).

The work involved 100 personnel to dredge mud as deep as 40 centimeters in the channel. It has been ongoing since Saturday (9/30). After being dredged, the mud would be transported using 10 dump trucks.

"It is actually done already. Hopefully, the channel can accommodate water in large quantities when it rains," he hoped.
