Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma, urged residents in all areas to continuously strengthen the spirit of togetherness and unity.

It was said when leading the Kesaktian Pancasila (Reverence Day) ceremony, which is celebrated every October 1.

"October 1 is a historic moment for the Indonesian nation that we cannot forget," he expressed, Sunday (10/1).

He explained the spirit of independence, which is based on the noble values of the Pancasila ideology must continue to be maintained by the nation in order to strengthen the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

It is important to carry out in everyday life, such as always emulating and imitating the love of our predecessors for Indonesia.

"The young generation must always instill the values of Pancasila in themselves and not forget the services of our heroes," he stated.
