The 95-meter-long water channel normalization on Jalan Rembani 2, RT 14/01, Pekayon Urban Village, Pasar Rebo Sub-district, East Jakarta, which began work on Tuesday (9/18) last week is targeted for completion by the end of October.
It is targeted to be completed by the end of October
Pasar Rebo Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Nana Juhana said the channel was normalized, as the existing condition was too small, so it could not accommodate water optimally during heavy rain.
"It is done to follow up on resident's complaint," she said, Tuesday (9/26).
The work involved ten personnel every day. The channel was being built using a box culvert in the size of 60x60 centimeters and U-ditch concrete in the size of 40x40 centimeters.
"The work progress has touched 40 percent. It is targeted to be completed by the end of October," he stated.
