Sidewalk repairs along the west and east sides of Jalan Pahlawan Pahlawan, Pondok Bambu, East Jakarta, keep being accelerated.
This is targeted for completion in the forthcoming December
Roads, Bridges and Road Equipment Division Head, Beny Situmorang said the repair involved two contractors has been carried out since August 2023.
On the east side, it was carried out up to 342.6 meters long with 3 to 3.5 meters wide.
"The work progress has touched more than 32 percent so far," he said, Tuesday (9/19).
While on the west side, it was carried out up to 753.8 meters long with 2.9 to -3.2 meters wide. The progress has reached more than 27 percent.
It was also carried out at the same time as the attachment of underground Integrated Utility Network (SJUT) facilities. So, all overhead cables would be moved underground to make it more orderly and beautiful.
"This is targeted for completion in the forthcoming December," he concluded.
