The beautification of the prime area in the third quarter on Jalan Raya Lenteng Agung, Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta continues to be accelerated.

Srengseng Sawah Urban Village Head, Sarca expressed the work progress today has touched 50 percent. Before being beautified, the land was previously abandoned, strewn with rubbish and wild plants

"Every day, at the location, we send seven PPSU personnel assisted by related regional apparatus organizations (OPDs)," he expressed, Tuesday (9/12).

According to him, the work was focused on a land as wide as 1,000 square meters. It has been ongoing since August 25, 2023, starting with making roadblocks, murals, and greenery.

"It is targeted to be completed on September 25, 2023," he explained.

He explained reforestation was carried out by planting tree seeds. As for the mural is made up to 50 meters long and 5.5 meters high.

"Hopefully, it will make the area neater and more beautiful, thus making residents comfortable," he hoped.
