The Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) is about to build two junior high schools (SMP) in West Jakarta this year.
Its construction will be taken over by Jakarta Education Agency
Basic Education and Special Education and Special Services Head, M Wawu Al Mubasir stated the two junior high school buildings would be built in Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, Grogol Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-district.
"Its construction will be taken over by Jakarta Education Agency," he expressed, Wednesday (5/31).
According to him, those school buildings would be realized in Kembangan Utara Urban Village on a land belongs to SDN Kembangan Utara 04, and Grogol Urban Village on a land belongs to SDN Grogol 05 with a land area of 7,000 square meters each.
It would be executed simultaneously with the total renovation activities in the same buildings. They would use go green concept with a green environment and a source of electricity from solar energy.
During the construction, students at SDN Kembangan Utara 04 and SDN Grogol 05 would be temporarily relocated to the nearest school.
"It is still in the auction process stage and the construction will begin in the upcoming August with a construction period of about one year," he stated.
