Some areas spread across the Palmerah Sub-district, Central Jakarta just became brightly painted by PPSU and Karang Taruna youth organization.

Palmerah Sub-district Head, Joko Mulyono said the mural paintings were focused on the concrete wall of the inner city toll road on Jalan Letjen S Parman, Slipi Urban Village Village, Jalan KS Tubun, Jalan Tomang Raya, and Jalan Brigjen Katamso.

"It aims to welcome the upcoming ASEAN Summit 2023," he expressed, Wednesday (5/10).

The murals, among others, can be seen with a picture of a serit betta fish, which is an icon of West Jakarta, a picture of hills in the Labuan Bajo area, and the inscription ASEAN Indonesia 2023.

Silpi Urban Village Head, Rusmini added the painting has been ongoing since three days ago.

"By doing so, the area looks neater and more beautiful," he stated.
