Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono led an executive meeting at the Central Jakarta administration Level.

The meeting was attended by leaders of each Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD), urban village heads, as well as sub-district heads, Perumda Sarana Jaya, and Perumda Pasar Jaya.

Heru said that the urban village and sub-district heads should routinely conduct area patrol together with PPSU personnel in order to follow up on pop-up problems in the field quickly.

"10 out of 30 personnel must be involved in the morning patrol to identify developments or problems in the field. They are directed to be a giver of positive information for us," he expressed, Monday (12/5).

He explained that the routine patrol also applies to OPDs such as the Central Jakarta Water Resouces (SDA) Sub-agency, Environment Sub-agency, and Parks and City Forest Sub-agency. Not only the deployment of personnel, but the support fleet also needs to be operated well.

Several urban problems that needed to be followed up immediately included the maintenance of trees and green open spaces, sterilization of bike tracks, piles of debris and garbage under railway crossings, and optimizing waste monitoring using drones.

"All should be working, instead of sitting in the pool. I will do a sudden inspection (sidak) of urban villages and sub-districts offices during my spare time," he asserted.

He also instructed the Central Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-agency to fix population data, including urban village and sub-district heads to send market data in Central Jakarta managed by Perumda Pasar Jaya. It was deemed necessary for improvement as well as increased service to traders and market visitors.

"There are Sumur Batu, Serdang, Rawa Kerbau Rawasari, and Nangka Bungur markets. They must be improved. I want them to be cleaned, especially drainage and sanitation. Trading activities must be neat, parking must function properly, including the toilet," he closed.
