The progress of sidewalk repairs on Jalan Poncol, Ragunan Urban Village, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, has now reached 75 percent. It is targeted to be completed next week.

South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head, Heru Suwondo expressed repairs to the 67-meter-long and 80-centimeter-wide sidewalk has been carried out since October 31, as it was dilapidated and many of the block blocks were dislodged and broken.

"We deploy six workers to repair it," he expressed, Monday (11/14).

The workers were also seen repainting the kanstine to make it brigther and cleaner.

After it was done, he would collaborate with the Parks and City Forest Sub-agency to plan ornamental plants along the sidewalk.

"Hope it can create a sense of comfort and safety for residents when they pass," he concluded.
