Central Jakarta Deputy Mayor Irwandi, released hundreds of participants in the mandatory visit to museums and cultural sites on the grounds of the local mayor's office, on Tuesday (7/26).

It aims to preserve culture and foster the love of the younger generation to preserve culture

In his speech, he asked the participants to share their experiences with the children again.

"The process of retelling to children is our effort to educate or transmit to children," he expressed.

Those participants were expected to echo and socialize with other people about tourist destinations titled Betawi culture and love museums.

"Alhamdulillah, today's activity is a good idea for the future, hopefully, the children will love the museum and Betawi culture even more," he added.

Central Jakarta Culture Sub-agency Head M Nurdin explained that there were about 800 participants divided into three groups.

"Especially today, there are 25 people. Tomorrow there are 250 people and 300 people on the third day. They will visit the Jakarta History Museum and the Setu Babakan Betawi cultural village," he explained.

He added participants who took part in the mandatory visit to museums and Betawi cultural sites consisted of Dasawisma, Jumantik (wiggler hunter), and PKK cadres at the urban village, sub-district, and city levels.

"It aims to preserve culture and foster the love of the younger generation to preserve culture," he stated.
