Since it has opened from Tuesday (5/3) to Wednesday (5/4), it is noted that as many as 60,362 tourists have visited the Ragunan Zoo (TMR), South Jakarta . They entered through the north and west gates.

TMR Management Unit (UP) Head Endah Rumiyati conveyed that there were 30,646 visitors on Tuesday (5/3) and 29,723 visitors on Wednesday (5/4).

According to her, tens of thou sands of tourists from Jabodetabek visited TMR using cars, tour buses, motorbikes, and Transjakarta buses.

"Based on data, there are 3,702 cars, 4,132 motorbikes, and 13 tour buses which visited the zoo in the last two days," she explained, Thursday (5/5).

Before entering the zoo, each visitor should order tickets online a day before arrival. TMR opened only 75 percent of total visitors capacity or 45,000 tickets every day.

"However, only few residents who have booked the tickets show up," she added.

She predicted the number of tourists would continue to increase until the end of the 2022 Eid holiday.

"There is still a long holiday until Sunday. Maybe in these two or three days, the number of tourists will remain high," she mentioned.
