The Jakarta Social Agency (Dinsos) has deployed 439 personnel of the Social Control and Supervision Service (P3S) at 44 hotspots for people with social welfare problems (PMKS) in Jakarta.

"For this year's Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, 439 personnel have been alerte d to anticipate the PMKS," said Premi Lasari Head of Jakarta Social Agency, Wednesday (4/6).

Moreover, her side is also actively monitoring PMKS in large mosques to provide comfort for Muslims in fasting.

She urged people who want to give alms or donations during Ramadan to channel their assistance to a trusted alms distribution institution.

"Let's give alms to official institutions. This way, the donations collected are bigger and the benefits are also greater," she stated.
