Pancoran Sub-district City Park and Forestry Unit personnel were deployed to beautify green belt along Jalan TMP Kalibata, Duren Tiga Urban Village.

Pancoran Sub-district City Park and Forestry Unit Head, Sandra conveyed, 100-meter green belt on Jalan TMP Kalibata was beautified by replacing jasmine with spiked spiralflag ginger (costus spicatus).

"We rejuvenate plants in the green belt by planting costus spicatus plants. Not only having beautiful red shoots, this plant is also resistant to hot weather," she said, Thursday (11/25).

Her side deployed 5 personnel to arrange the green belt with width 1.5 meters. They were not only rejuvenating the plants, but also pruning trees on the area.

"Pruning is carried out to anticipate branch from splintering and make it more beautiful," she closed.
