The Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest Agency has set a fixed procedure for limiting activities in the Public Cemetery (TPU) area during the public activity restrictions (PPKM) Level 3 in Jakarta.

It was stated in the Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest Agency's Decree number 213/2021 on Closing of Green Open Spaces in Parks, Green Trails, City Forests, Nurseries, and Ragunan Zoo, and Restrictions on Activities in Public Cemete ry amid PPKM Level 3.

Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) Head, Ivan Murcahyo said, the burial process for the corpse could be attended by the family who had been vaccinated and should wear a double mask.

"They also have to show proof of vaccination cards, either via JAKI application or PeduliLindungi," he expressed, Thursday (8/26).

He explained, officers would also restrict pilgrimage visits to avoid crowds by maintaining a safe distance of at least two meters between visitors.

Therefore, those of you who will propose the recommendation for a Grave Land Use Permit (IPTM) in all TPU offices in Jakarta must also show vaccination cards.

"For activities in the TPU office area related to IPTM services must be at 25 percent of the office space capacity," he stated.
