Data checking is done for equitable distribution, which aims to anticipate double data
Central Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Ngapuli Parangin Angin said, the rice aid was distributed to residents who also received cash aid amounting to Rp 300,000.
"The data on residents who received cash aid are the same as those who received 10-kg rice," he expressed.
He ensured the recipients of cash and rice aid were not the same as those who received assistance from the Ministry of Social.
"Data checking is done for equitable distribution, which aims to anticipate double data," he concluded.
He added, its distribution was carried out door to door. "We will come door to door so we will not cause a crowd that could potentially lead to wider transmission of Covid-19," he closed.
