Central Jakarta sees a significant decrease in active Covid-19 cases around 55 percent since July 15 to 28.
However, based on data as of July 28, active cases fall to 4,539
Central Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Erizon Safari said, on July 15, the case had jumped to more than 7,000.
"However, based on data as of July 28, active cases fall to 4,539," he said, Thursday (7/29).
To anticipate similar case, he instructed urban village heads, RT/RW caretakers and public figures to help monitor residents exposed to Covid-19 who were undergoing self-isolation at home.
"Their condition must be continuously monitored," he stated.
The sub-agency has recorded, until July 22, as many as 6,478 residents exposed to Covid-19 were still isolated at home.
Therefore, Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma urged them to soon make a report if the house did not meet the requirements for self-isolation. They should be rushed to the Wisma Atlet or Pasar Rumput Rusunawa.
"This is aimed at preventing the spread of Covid-19," he said.
