114,608 Vehicles Turned Back at East Jakarta Checkpoints

During Emergency PPKM implementation on July 3-25, as many as 114,608 vehicles were turned back at five checkpoints in border areas of East Jakarta.

Total 114,608 vehicles were turned back during implementation of Emergency PPKM

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) Monitoring and Controlling Section Head, Riky Erwinda stated, those 114,608 vehicles consisted of 78,868 two-wheeled vehicles, 202 three-wheeled vehicles, 32,214 four-wheeled vehicles, and 3,324 vehicles with more than four wheels.

"Total 114,608 vehicles were turned back during implementation of Emergency PPKM. All vehicles that want to pass through the checkpoints will be asked to turn back if they don't have COVID-19 free certificate and STRP," he informed, Tuesday (7/27).

Those five checkpoints were located on Jl. Raya Bogor (in front of Panasonic), Jl. Raya Kalimalang/Lampiri, Jl. Raya Bekasi (U-Turn TL Cacing), Jl. D.I. Panjaitan (from Bypass to Kampung Melayu), and Jl. Basuki Rahmat (from Duren Sawit to Kampung Melayu).

"We deploy 50 personnel to join with Satpol PP, Gulkarmat Sub-agency, TNI and Police," he mentioned.

Until now, his side is still checking Employee Registration Certificate (STRP) on roadusers who pass through five checkpoints.
