Payung Island, Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district has returned to COVID-19 Green Zone status after 65 local residents who were previously exposed to COVID-19 have been declared cured.

But, we still remind residents to always comply with health protocol

Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah mentioned, those 65 residents underwent self-isolation until they tested negative for COVID-19.

"We are lifting micro-lockdown status. But, we still remind residents to always comply with health protocol thus similar case won't happen again," he stated, Monday (7/19).

He encouraged residents who haven't been vaccinated to immediately take vaccination according to established procedure.

"For those who have just been exposed to COVID-19 and haven't been vaccinated, they have to wait three-month before taking vaccination. In order to take vaccination, you can register at health center," he informed.
