Jakarta Population and Settlement Control Deputy Governor, Suharti Sutar, visited the Rescue Oxygen Command Post in the Lenggang Jakarta Monas area, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (7/4).

It was established in collaboration with a number of OPDs, namely Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Health Agency (Dinkes), Bina Marga Agency, Water Resources (SDA) Agency, and Transportation Agency (Dishub).
Health Resources Division Head, Purwadi said it was operated to fill oxygen cylinders to meet the needs of government and private hospitals in the capital city.
"We received donations from PT Krakatau Steel's CSR in Cilegon to fill 254 oxygen cylinders for free, which will be distributed to government and private hospitals throughout Jakarta every day," he explained.
He assessed that each hospital got a free refill of 10 large oxygen cylinders. Then the mechanism for distributing aid was the hospital delivered about 10 empty oxygen cylinders to the post to be carried by a truck from the administration to the filling station in Cilegon.
"We bring again oxygen cylinders that have been filled. The hospital take it back at the Monas post. Predictably it takes five hours for one process to send tens to hundreds of oxygen cylinders from Monas to Cilegon to return to the post," he explained.
According to the Governor's direction, he added, all OPDs were instructed to move in the context of handling Covid-19 in Jakarta.
"This post at Monas will be available during the handling of Covid-19 in Jakarta InsyaAllah, with CSR aid, PT Krakatau Steel can help break down the density at the oxygen filling station in Pulogadung," he uttered.
