The Thousand Islands Regency administration, distributed basic food packages from the Social Agebcy to local residents who were undergoing self-isolation due to exposure to Covid-19, on Wednesday (6/30).

Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi said it was given to lighten the burden and meet the needs of residents, as they have to stay at home.
"The food packages distributed consist of rice, cooking oil, sardines, canned biscuits and instant noodles," he expressed.
He explained, North Thousand Islands Sub-district had received 33 packages and South Thousand Islands Sub-district received 37 packaged.
"Aside that, we continuously urge people to comply with health protocols by implementing 5M in order to reduce the number of exposure to the coronavirus," he said.
