Jakarta Government through City Park and Forestry Agency added 3 hectares burial ground at Rorotan Public Cemetery (TPU), North Jakarta.

Jakarta City Park and Forestry Agency's Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) Head, Ivan Murcahyo stated, 2 of 3 hectares land was ready for burial ground. While the remaining 1 hectare is being processed.
"Currently, our PJLP personnel in the field are focused on tidying up area for burial ground. Moreover, its condition is still arid and lacks greenery. Currently, infrastructure project is still in bidding process," he explained, on Thursday (6/17).
His side prioritized graveyard building and reforestation. Then, he targeted the preparation for planting media and planting to be completed next month.
"We hope in the near future, it can be greener. We start by planting plumeria and sea mango (bintaro). Surely, we choose the right tree species by adjusting the environmental condition," he mentioned.
