As many as 256 residents in RWs prone to being affected by Covid-19 or dense residential neighborhoods in North Thousand Islands Sub-district have undergone the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
The age range of those vaccinated is between 18 to 59 years old
North Thousand Islands Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Achmad Sigit detailed as many as 199 people were residents of Kelapa Island Urban Village, while 57 were from Panggang Island Urban Village.
"The age range of those vaccinated is between 18 to 59 years old and the elderly who have not been vaccinated. The current target is people who live in densely populated villages," he expressed, Wednesday (6/2).
He added the second dose of vaccine would be given 12 weeks or three months after the first dose injection.
"Hopefully, it may reduce the risk of spreading and the impact of contracting Covid-19 in Thousand Islands. After being vaccinated, we urge them to remain comply with health protocols," he stated.
