In January-April 2021 period, total 1,126 animals that have potential to transmit rabies (HPR) in South Jakarta were injected with rabies vaccines by Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency.
From January to April, we have vaccinated 1,126 residents' pets
South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Hasudungan A. Sidabalok mentioned, his side will intensify rabies vaccination for residents' pets, such as cats, dogs, monkeys, and civets, to maintain Jakarta as rabies-free province.
"From January to April, we have vaccinated 1,126 residents' pets consisting of cats, dogs, monkeys, and civets," he stated, Thursday (5/13).
In detail, his side had vaccinated 222 cats, 886 dogs, 10 monkeys, and 8 civets.
According to him, his side will continue to hold rabies vaccination until the end of this year.
"Rabies vaccination is given for free," he conveyed.
