The Panggang Island Urban Village COVID-19 Task Force, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands continues to socialize homecoming ban to locals and tourists at the Pramuka Island Main Pier.

This is an effort to control mobility in minimizing the risk of increasing the rate of transmission of COVID-19

Panggang Island Urban Village Acting Head, Iskandar said socialization was done to succeed government policies in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19.

"This is an effort to control mobility in minimizing the risk of increasing the rate of transmission of COVID-19," he expressed, Sunday (5/9).

According to him, the officer also called on residents and tourists who came to wisely use the Exit and Entry Permit (SIKM), which was only intended for residents with urgent needs.

"It's wise to apply for SIKM as the best place to stay is at home considering the COVID-19 pandemic still exists. So, we urge them to stay at home by adhering to health protocols in their activities," he stated.
