The Floating Clinic free healthcare service, which is a collaboration between the Thousand Islands Regency administration together with PT Kimia Farma and Al-Quran Waqf Board (BWA), visited residents in Harapan Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, on Friday (4/9).

People really need health access. Fortunately, this service makes it easy for them to check up their health and get medicine for free

Harapan Island Urban Village Secretary Irfan Damanhuri expressed his appreciation and grateful for the service through jemput bola system (officers to take the initiative to visit residents) held in Widya Bahari Child-friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA).

"People really need health access. Fortunately, this service makes it easy for them to check up their health and get medicine for free," he expressed.

At the same time, Floating Clinic Committee Chairman Achmad Mufrodi uttered, in the service, there were three general practitioners, two midwives, two nurses and two pharmacists.

"Until 11:30 AM, we have served 125 patients of adult, elderly and children. Most of them check blood sugar, uric acid, high blood pressure, cholesterol and joint pain. We also provide vitamins for toddlers," he stated.
