As many as 21 residents enjoyed document restoration and digitization services held by the East Jakarta Library and Archives (Pusip) Sub-agency at the office of Cawang Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, on Monday (3/29).
Apart from flood victims, other residents who have important documents but damaged and want to be restored can also enjoy the service
Archives Division Head Muhammad Hazairin disclosed that the service had been ongoing since today and would end on Wednesday (3/31).
"Apart from flood victims, other residents who have important documents but damaged and want to be restored can also enjoy the service," he said.
He added that almost all important documents that could be restored in the service, ranging from diplomas, family cards, birth certificates, marriage books, land certificates and other important documents.
"Today we have served 21 people with 160 documents that have been archived digitally," he added.
