The Taman Sari Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit, West Jakarta has sent eight personnel to repair the damaged sidewalk alongside Jalan Gajah Mada.

The total that we have tidied up is 50 meters length and one meter width

Taman Sari Bina Marga Executing Unit Head Shelly Sapta Budyana said the damage was because of utility network removal conducted by the utility owner.

"The total that we have tidied up is 50 meters length and one meter width, including the laying of andesite paving stones. We filled the excavation with rubble, then leveled it and replaced the stones," he expressed, Wednesday (3/24).

He added the case would be reported to the West Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency to admonish the vendors to pay more attention to excavation and post-construction.
