Beritajakarta.id, the official news site for Jakarta Provincial Government, became the one that received awards from Indonesian Health Volunteers (Rekan Indonesia) for Media category, on Saturday (2/27). This award was given during Public Dialogue event at Grand Cempaka Hotel, Jl. R. Soeprapto, Central Jakarta.

This award was given because Beritajakarta.id is considered to be online media that really cares about news on COVID-19 prevention. Apart from Beritajakarta.id, Indonesian Health Volunteers also gave award to East Java Cakrawarta. The awarding ceremony was witnessed virtually by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan.
National Indonesian Health Volunteers Chairperson, Agung Nugroho said, apart from media, his side also gave awards to BUMD and hospitals (RSUDs). For BUMD, there were PT. Jakarta Propertindo, PT. Bank DKI, PT. Jakarta Tourisindo and PD. Pasar Jaya.
Meanwhile for RSUDs, there were RSUD Tarakan, RSUD Pasar Minggu and RSUD Cengkareng. All components received awards because they care about COVID-19 prevention in Jakarta.
"We give awards based on team's assessment in the field. During the pandemic, it turns out Jakarta BUMD has an active role. Hospital is also stable and optimal in providing public health services even during the pandemic," he explained.
According to him, online media that won award were also considered to be most concerned parties regarding health issues. Not only COVID-19, but also other health issues. It becomes material for discussion and consideration of Indonesian Health Volunteers team.
Beritajakarta.id Chief Editor, Bima Agung expressed his gratitude and appreciated Indonesian Health Volunteers who gave this award.
This award was expected to motivate all editorial staffs of Beritajakarta.id which is part of Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Agency thus they can be optimal and active in reporting about health, especially related to COVID-19 prevention and control.
