Currently, the repair process has reached 75 percent

Kembangan Sub-district SDA Task Force Head, Mulyadi mentioned, the collapsed retaining wall had length 23 meters, width 200 centimeters, and height 250 centimeters. His side deployed 24 personnel since February 2, 2021 to repair it.

"Currently, the repair process has reached 75 percent," he informed, Friday (2/26).

Before repairing it, his side cleaned up debris and built emergency embankment from dolken woods to hold the soil while making gabion floor. After that, personnel placed stones to install gabion walls.

According to him, river's retaining wall was collapsed due to high water discharge in Pesanggrahan River.

"This repair is targeted to be completed in early March. So far, the work is hampered by bad weather," he added.

He hopes by repairing retaining wall, water flow on Pesanggrahan River can return to normal and not obstructed.
