Central Jakarta Acting Mayor, Irwandi targets to hit 90 percent of the COVID-19 green zone in residential areas spread over eight sub-districts in the upcoming March.

Without the cooperation and discipline of residents, the target won't be reached

Based on the data, he expressed, the current yellow zone in Central Jakarta was only 17 percent, while the green zone had reached 82.06 percent. It was due to the collaboration of the city government, residents, army and police.

"Without the cooperation and discipline of residents, the target won't be reached," he stated, after he visited the residents' houses who are still exposed to COVID-19 in RW 01 Kwitang Urban Village, Wednesday (2/17).

Hence, he asserted, cooperation and resident awareness were very important in stopping the COVID-19.

Central Jakarta Metro Resort Police Chief, Comr. Pol. Hengki Haryadi said he had a program of one RW, one police officer assisted by Satpol PP and army for handling COVID.

"This program is already running and tomorrow will be launched together with the three pillars toward the green zone in Central Jakarta," he stated.
