The Kelapa Gading Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit has started dredging the drains on Jalan Pegangsaan Dua.

Kelapa Gading Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Citrin Indriati said it had been carried out since Friday (2/12). It was targeted to be complete in the first week of March.

"This is done to anticipate inundation around Jalan Pegangsaan Dua," he expreessed, Sunday (2/14).

She explained dredging was conducted, as the drains were full of mud and often caused inundation when rain poured.

To conduct it, her party sent 10 personnel to the location.

"We do it manually using a floating pump to dry up the drains," he said.
