The COVID-19 RW 01 Rawasari Task Force, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta is vigorously empowering crop farming program in order to realize food security for residents amid the pandemic.

It is done in cooperation with PKK cadres, Karang Taruna, Dasawisma, as well as RT caretakers and urban village apparatuses.
COVID-19 RW 01 Rawasari Task Force Leader Ai Sumirah said he chose to conduct farming activities using hydroponic system and catfish farming in a bid to support the food needs of local residents.
"The produce from hydroponic vegetables and catfish is sold to local residents at low prices," he expressed, Monday (1/18).
He was also actively encouraging to work hand in hand to meet the living needs of residents infected with COVID-19 while undergoing a self-isolation in their respective homes.
To curb the spread of COVID-19, he was continuously socializing health protocols to the public about the importance of wearing a mask, washing your hands and maintain physical distancing.
"We have also imposed one-door access to enter and exit the area, thus we can easily monitor the use of masks," he told.
He also set up 53 portable sinks and distributed masks to locals in 17 RTs.
"Coordination of handling COVID 19 is faster led by the urban village head and related officials," he stated.
