" 108,681 people have undergone the swab tests"

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of January 18.

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 11,791 specimens. 10,012 of them were to diagnose new cases with 2,361 positive and 7,651 negative results.

"The number of people tested last week has reached 225,910, while 108,681 people have undergone the swab tests," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Monday (1/18).

As for the number of active cases in Jakarta to date was 21,200 people who were undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead) or decreased to 479 cases. As for the total number of confirmed cases in Jakarta today was 229,726 cases. Of these cases, 204,711 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 89.1% and 3,815 people died with a death rate of 1.7%, while Indonesia's death rate was 2.9%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 17.9%, while Indonesia was 9.6%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

The city government had provided isolation and ICU beds in handling COVID-19. Based on the latest data on January 10, there was an increase in the capacity of isolation beds and ICU beds in 101 referral hospitals. As for isolation beds of 7,548, the percentage of occupancy was 86% with a total of 6,501 isolated patients, while for ICU beds of 995, the percentage was 80% with a total of 849 ICU patients.

Amid PSBB, residents wanting to enter the Jakarta area were urged to carry out independent COVID-19 check-up through the JakCLM via JAKI app. In this app, they could find out the risk of COVID-19 and got various health recommendations according to the risks they have. This contribution would help the government to prevent the diseases in Jakarta.

Together with Satpol PP, the operation for residents who do not wear masks will also be intensified, including other PSBB violations. Hopefully, they can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in stopping the chain of COVID-19.

- Written warning = 4

- License Revocation = 0

D. Value of Fines

- Place of business to eat and drink/restaurant = Rp 0

- Workplace/Industrial = Rp 0

1. Stay home if not urgent

2. Always run 3M rules: (Mencuci tangan (washing hands), Memakai masker (wearing masks) and Menjaga jarak (maintaining physical distancing)

3. All activities permitted to operate must be within a maximum capacity of 50% and strictly adhere to health protocols

4. Remind others to always implement health protocols
