Throughout 2020, North Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-agency (Sudinpusip) distributed 7,172 books with 896 titles.

North Jakarta Sudinpusip Head, Wahyu Prabowo stated, book distribution was one of Jakarta Government's efforts to improve people's interest in reading books. It was expected to make people more familiar with books and develop reading culture.
"In 2020, we have distributed thousands books to 25 locations," he added, Monday (1/4).
Those thousands books were distributed to public libraries, private libraries, reading corners both located in schools, government offices, and Children-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRAs).
"By distributing books, we hope it can support book collections in libraries and reading corners," he said.
This year, he continued, his side will continue to intensify online activities for wider communities. Starting from literacy tours to coaching the librarians.
"We are also developing One Card All Library digitization system that contains book summaries that can be accessed by residents," he mentioned.
