The Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency has opened an e-waste pick-up service. To get it, the community must meet the prescribed procedures.

Jakarta LH Agency Head Andono Warih explained, the applicant could apply via online system at the website lingkunganhidup.jakarta.go.id or via Facebook.

"They (applicant) will be directed to fill in data via Google Form. They must be a resident of Jakarta," he said, Wednesday (11/18).

He explained the minimum weight of electronic waste for pickup should be five kilograms. Electronic waste contained hazardous and toxic materials (B3).

"E-waste can be sourced from households and activities such as offices, schools, hotels, apartments, etc," he stated.
