East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency personnel cleaned up water channl on Jl. Raya Pondok Gede, RT 05/01, Pinang Ranti, Makasar, on Wednesday (11/11).

East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency's Fire Control and Rescue Section Head, Gatot Sulaeman stated, his side cleaned up the channel using one pump car unit with capacity 2,500 liters.

"We spray the channel to clean it from garbage and mud sedimentation thus water can flow optimally," he explained.

Pinang Ranti Urban Village Head, Haris Indrianto mentioned, his side also deployed 8 PPSU personnel to assist Gulkarmat in cleaning this 50-meter channel.

"Channel is cleaned as our effort to minimize inundation and flood in the region," he conveyed.
