End of September, West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has completed Botak Seng Stilling Basin construction on Jl. Pangeran Tubagus Angke, Wijaya Kusuma, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta.
Construction has been completed and now it is ready for use
Grogol Petamburan Sub-district SDA Unit Head, Agus explained, this stilling basin has length of 30 meters, width of 2.5 meters, and height of 1.5 meters.
"Construction has been completed and now it is ready for use," he said, Monday (11/9).
For constructing it, his side deployed 20 SDA Unit personnel and 2 portable pumps to drain water into the river.
Stilling basin will be used to overcome inundation that often occurred on Jalan Pangeran Tubagus Angke, Wijaya Kusuma.
"This stilling basin has water capacity of 112.5 qubic meters," he conveyed.
