The Matraman Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Task Force has started cleaning a connecting channel along Jalan Ahmad Yani, RW 03, Utan Kayu Selatan Urban Village.

According to Agus, Task Force Coordinator of Matraman Sub-district SDA, it was carried out as the channel had been filled with mud as high as 1,5 meters with 2.4 meters length and 1 meter width and waste.

"It is carried out to anticipate puddles and floods during heavy rains," he expressed, Friday (10/23).

His side sent 9 personnel to clean the channel as long as 4 meters with 3 meters depth and 2.2 meters width.

"After it is done, the water can flow smoothly and the channel can accommodate water in large quantities," he stated.
