The Kedoya Utara Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta has received and distributed 1,852 social aid packages to those in need to mitigate the hardship of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kedoya Utara Urban Village Head Tubagus Masarul Iman said the social aid consisted of 2 packs of 5-kg rice, 1 can of 325-gr chicken curry, 1 can of 300-gr wafer, 2 pieces of 0,9-ltr cooking oil, 1 piece of 520-ml soy sauce pouch, 4 cans of 155-gr sardines, 1 piece of 80-gr soap, 4 pieces of 80-gr fried noodles and 1 piece of 1-kg flour.
"It is distributed to RW 01, 02, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 and 11," he told, Tuesday (10/20).
He explained his side had cooperated with RW secretariat to distribute the aid door to door to comply with physical distancing rules.
"It is done to avoid the crowd that could potentially lead to wider transmission of COVID-19," he stated.
