The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency always ensures the availability of water for public handwashing facilities on Kelapa and Kelapa Dua islands, Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands Sub-district.

Kelapa Island Urban Village Government Division Head Muslim stated urban village apparatus regularly coordinated to turn off water reservoirs for handwashing facilities.
"This is part of our obligation to support the public in adhering to health protocols for preventing the COVID-19, one of which is washing hands frequently with soap using running water," he expressed, Friday (10/9).
In the meantime, Kelapa Island Urban Village SDA Sub-agency's Task Force Coordinator Slamet added the officers filled handwashing facilities in all areas, including those at the piers, residents' houses, public facilities, houses of worship, government offices and the community secretariat.
"The need for clean water can reach 200-300 liters at a time, we make sure everything is fulfilled," he said.
