Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission A Legislator, Lukmanul Hakim appreciated Free Internet Access for All or JakWIFI program which launched virtually on last Friday (8/28).
We appreciate JakWIFI program that is ready to be accessed in municipalities and regency of Jakarta
This program, he assessed, is not only implemented to meet the city service standards based on information technology and communication, but also to give benefits for residents, especially underprivileged students who are undergoing distance learning (PJJ).
"We appreciate JakWIFI program t
hat is ready to be accessed in municipalities and regency of Jakarta," he stated, Tuesday (9/1).He suggested that JakWIFI program could be prioritized fully for education sector.
"Because we understand it very well the difficulties of the underprivileged students in following PJJ. I think it needs to be considered," he mentioned.
He hopes students who have gained benefits from JakWIFI can comply with health protocols for COVID-19 prevention.
"Make sure to comply with health protocols. Don't let students or residents who gather in that place to ignore it and cause a new problem," he asserted.
