Jakarta Health Agency ensures there are no findings related to practices of buying and selling COVID-19-Free Statement Letter in all hospitals in Jakarta.

Sanction varies from administrative sanction to license revocation

Jakarta Health Agency's Service Division Head, Weningtyas conveyed, all Health Sub-agencies have been instructed to make sure the COVID-19 Free Statement Letter from doctor is not misused and not for sale to the public.

"We recommend the Health Precautionary Statement Letter to be used by doctor to state that the patient is not exposed to COVID-19. Until now, there has been no trading practice on that," she explained, Tuesday (5/19).

Her side will be strict by revoking hospital or clinic license which caught to sell the fake COVID-19 Free Statement Letter to the public. It is regulated in Health Minister Regulation (Permenkes) No. 9/2014 concerning Clinic.

"Sanction varies from administrative sanction to license revocation. If there is any practice related to that, we will report it to the police," she mentioned.
