"Through this program, Mr. Governor wants the COVID-19 Task Force at RW level to take on more roles to prevent the spread of COVID-19," stated Isnawa Adji, South Jakarta Vice Mayor, Monday (4/27).
According to him, the establishment of Kampung Siaga COVID-19 is in accordance with Presidential Decree (Keppres) No. 9/2020 related to Amendment to Presidential Decree No. 7/2020 concerning the Task Force for COVID-19 Handling Acceleration.
"Both residents and RT/RW heads of Kampung Siaga COVID-19 are responsible for the task," he asserted.
He explained, when carrying out their duties, Kampung Siaga COVID-19 team should monitor and know the exact number of people under surveillance (ODP) and patients under observations (PDP) in their neighborhood, especially during the second period of Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB).
"Team at RW level is the frontline in monitoring ODP and PDP movements. Thus COVID-19 spread can be avoided starting from their own environment," he conveyed.
