As many as 13 regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) under Jakarta Provincial Government are united to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in Jakarta.
" We help each other to curb the COVID-19 pandemic"
"We help each other to curb the COVID-19 pandemic. That is by providing clean water through PDAM Jaya in all Transjakarta bus stops and MRT stations," expressed Jakarta BUMD Development Agency Secretary, Riyadi, Monday (4/13).
He explained PT Jakarta Tourisindo also did the same action by providing four hotels for medical workers who have been working very hard to treat COVID-19 patients.
"PT Transportasi Jakarta collaborates to provide a transportation fleet to transport medical workers from hotels to hospitals or vice versa. This is cooperation between BUMDs," he explained.
He went on to say that BUMDs in charge of food security also work together to provide social aid to support the PSBB in the capital city.
"They are Perumda Pasar Jaya, PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya and PD Dharma Jaya that focus on the need for food for the 1.25 million target households," he told.
They have special duties related to service to the community.
"Besides providing dividends to the local treasury, we also have the role of services to the public. All BUMDs work together to stop the COVID-19 pandemic," he stated.
