Jakarta Public Service (JPS) has expressed their appreciation for the Jakarta Provincial Government's action to increase the budget allocation that is totaled by Rp 3.032 trillion to battle the health and economic aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic in Jakarta.

"They deserve to be appreciated, this shows sensitivity and seriousness in curbing spread of COVID-19," expressed JPS Executive Director, Mohammad Syaiful Jihad, Friday (4/3).
Together with local government, he stated, they will also inject social aid by Rp 1 million per family to 3.7 million of targeted citizens.
"This is a must where a lot of family income is reduced or lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic," he explained.
Hopefully it could also make citizens more be concern of physical distancing and not much activity outside the home.
"To end this case, we must support and help the government and medical workers by staying at home," he stressed.
He added the city and legislative needed to meet discussing budgets for any activities that could still be postponed for maximum results.
"I think they can delay activities that are not too urgent," he stated.
