Hindus people in Jakarta will hold Melasti or purification ceremony and ritual in this February in order to welcome the Saka New Year 1942 or Nyepi (Day of Silence) at Segara Temple, Cilincing, North Jakarta.
This ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020

North Jakarta Government's supports in succeeding the Melasti ceremony."This ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020," he added, Tuesday (2/4).
North Jakarta Secretary, Desi Putra stated, Melasti ceremony is a moment that has the potential to attract local and foreign tourists to visit Jakarta.
"We will ensure the safety around Segara Temple thus Hindus people can performing prayers well during Melasti ceremony," he asserted.
